(Kelway 1889). One of James Kelways most celebrated peonies bred way back in 1889. This is actually one of the finest of all peonies, and is praised all over the world as one of the best cut flower varieties. The flowers are globe shaped, and fully double. They open the faintest blush pink then quickly change to pure snow white, as the intense sweet fragrance develops. A later flowering peony growing to around 90cm. Takes a while to establish, but absolutely worth it!
