Ideal for those impatient gardeners (and who isn't) who just cannot wait to see wonderful peony flowers as soon as possible! (Van der Valk 1953). The flowers open quite demurely with a pink hue which fades to pure white as the flower develops. At the same time, the blooms increase in volume considerably as they open. A light sweet scent is an added treat. Mid season flowering and growing to around 85cm in height, this is a thoroughly recommended garden peony. The picture shows a young immature bloom.
