Climbing Cécile Brunner is remarkable for its vigour and floriferousness. Most climbing sports are not as free-flowering as the bush roses from which they are sported, but Climbing Cécile Brunner will grow to at least 8m and an established plant is seldom out of flower. Its flowers and leaves are slightly larger than those of the original. The flowers are borne in large clusters of up to 100 (typically 20-30).
All the roses we sell have been field grown and lifted when the conditions are at their best. If ordering potted roses, as the plants will not start to put on any more root growth until the spring, please do not be surprised to find the compost fall away from the roots when you take the plant out of its pot. We use a high quality compost so you can incorporate this when you plant your rose.
