Chelsea Update May 9th Chelsea Update May 9th
Not sure that any of us know what day of the week it is anymore! 2 lorries being loaded each day. Trollies and tractor loads of plants all over the place! Its super busy on the nursery as we send more and more plants up to the showground, where our lovely clients are waiting nervously to see if they have arrived and that they can get on with planting them.
However, it's still 12 days until the show opens, and that is still a lot of growing time. Many plants are still being finished off, either by moved to a very hot house to bring on the flowers. or moved to cool shade to hold flowers back. Other plants are being staked in readiness for transport, and others are being heavily fed with Maxi Crop on a daily basis to give them the “Chelsea Glow”
