Digitalis purpurea

Digitalis purpurea

Plants for Pollinators

A short-lived perennial that given the right conditions will often produce side shoots and self seed freely, allowing it to create naturalised drifts, ideal for woodland planting. In summer above a rosette of softly hairy foliage, it will develop tall spikes of tubular pink-purple flowers with speckled throats.
