31 days to go! RHS Chelsea 2021
The weather continues to be quite kind, although strong winds have made our nursery manager Matt's life quite difficult as he battles to keep all the large plants standing up and irrigated. I'm having a couple of weeks away in Cornwall but am keeping in touch with the guys remotely.

We are starting to see flower buds appear
Interestingly there are quite a few species that we are now moving into tunnels to bring them into flower, something that we did not expect to be doing in August!

With just 31 days to go, we are getting designer visits most days, and for these latter visits, they are bringing members of their planting teams with them so that they can get a feel for the plants they will be receiving. They can then start to visualize planting combinations.
Simon our Projects Manager is incredibly busy, entertaining them all whilst keeping an eye on their lists, as well as arranging all of the logistics to get these plants to Chelsea.
t's a complex operation, and one that Matt and Simon have now had many years of doing. There is a huge amount of work behind the scenes that goes into getting thousands of plants in perfect condition for the Chelsea Flower Show.
