Ferula communis subsp. glauca
An upright perennial forming a mound of aromatic, finely divided, bright green leaves with silvery undersides, with strong, grey-green stems flushed purple and producing rounded clusters of smll yellow flowers in summer.
Galium odoratum
Whilst many Galiums have a reputation for being invasive, this variety is a good garden plant. It spreads, once established, by underground rhizomes. It makes for great groundcover and in spring will bear delightful white flowers which are heavily scented and are a great attraction for wildlife.

Sweet Cicely is an erect, aniseed-scented perennial with bright green leaves. It bears umbels of pure white flowers followed by spindle-shaped fruits. The foliage is edible and is often used to flavour savoury dishes and also as a sweetener for fruit dishes.

A bushy, woody-based perennial with aromatic green leaves producing loose sprays of tiny, pale pink flowers from summer into early autumn.
