The very last tree peony to flower. It is closely related to Black Pirate but the flowers are double and a little smaller. This is a little gem and ideal for overlapping the tree peonies with the herbaceous peonies. Easily grown but difficult to propagate, which means that it will always be a little more expensive. Height and spread after 8 years approx 100cm x 80cm.
