A most magnificent tree peony of ancient origin. The large semi double blooms open very flat in a most unusual way. The colour is described by the Japanese as Botan purple and the petals have silvery edges. A very late flowering plant. The buds tantalise you for what seems like weeks before they finally fully open. Height and spread after 8 years approx 100cm x 90cm
