An erect, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with divided, dark green foliage and bearing nodding, bonnet-like pink flowers from spring and into summer. Whilst Aquilegias can be fairly short-lived, they tend to self-seed fairly freely without becoming a nuisance. A pretty, cottage garden plant.
