(Klehm 1973) Well if you consider a white large plate, filled in the centre with a pile of deep vintage grated cheddar cheese, then you have this peony! It really does look like that! The petals are thick and waxy making them very weather resistant. With darge green broad leaves, this is a sensational peony that would command a prominent position in the border. Height to around 90cm and mid season flowering.
