LOCAL HOME DELIVERY

During the current Covid-19 pandemic we are offering free local home delivery to help everyone keep gardening whilst garden centres have to remain closed. This will allow you to buy anything from the website including products such as vegetable plants and compost and have them delivered to your door.

All we ask is that if at all possible you make sure your order is a minimum value of £20. We are not being insistent on this; it just helps us out a little more. Maybe speak to your neighbours and see if they would like to order anything as well. That will always help.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Use the Click & Collect option to place your order
  • Certain items will show as Click & Collect only, in which case your order will revert to Click & Collect automatically
  • In the Notes box at the checkout just type "Please Deliver"
  • We will then get your order out to you as quickly as practical, usually within 3-5 days
  • Occasionally, we may sell out of certain composts. We are receiving deliveries on a weekly basis, so should be able to still deliver within a week

You can also order through the website and collect from us once your order is ready

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Place your order through the website
  • Certain items will show as Click & Collect only, in which case your order will revert to Click & Collect automatically
  • Pay for your order through the website
  • Wait until you receive an email from us telling you that your order is ready for collection
  • Your order will be left on a pallet in the car park with your name on it
  • Just drive in and help yourself
  • Please be aware of others around you and maintain the social distancing guidelines set out by the UK government. This is for everyone's safety

UK NATIONWIDE DELIVERY

  • We are still delivering nationwide
  • We have increased our lead times to 14-21 days owing to high demand, shortage of staff and supplier closures, though we are doing our best to get things out as quickly as possible. 
  • We have moved our packing to 24 hours-a-day, Sunday to Thursday currently to try and catch-up with orders.
  • Please do bear with us - you will not be forgotten. We are doing our best to help as many people as possible to help them keep gardening during these challenging and difficult times.
  • We do realise that everyone is keen to get their plants as quickly as possible. We are doing our best, but plants do take time to prepare and pack to ensure you get the best quality available.
  • We are packing what we can on Fridays, but we cannot send some orders over the weekend as some plants will not like being in boxes for the entire weekend. We will use our own judgement as to what we feel will be safe to send over the weekend.
  • With another bank holiday coming up, this will impact on our ability to pack and ship again. We are flooding mail order in the run-up to that to get as much out as possible before the bank holiday. With the next bank holiday having been moved to the Friday, we will only ba able to pack that week from Sunday to Wednesday as the couriers will not be delivering on the bank holiday.
  • Unfortunately we are not able to give you a specific day for your delivery at the moment. We are doing our best to get orders out, but the courier system across the country is at its maximum capacity and therefore having a knock-on effect to our shipping.

TELEPHONES & OTHER ENQUIRIES

  • Please do NOT telephone your order through. We are working hard to fulfill everything as quickly as possible but do not have the time to take telephone orders. If you are unable to do this, please email [email protected] and we will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible
  • We ask that all orders are placed through the website
  • Everything that is available will be featured on the website. We are not able to currently offer advice and special plant requests for items not featured on the website. It is simply too time-consuming and will add further complications to our ability to deliver.
  • Please do not ask to add to your order. The best thing to do is simply place another order. Where these can be delivered together we will, but it may be that your orders will come separately.
  • If you have an enquiry, please email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible.
  • If you are after an item which is not on the website, then unfortunately we can not currently offer it. Please keep an eye on the website or like our Facebook page as we will post to Facebook as soon as more items are available and on the website. This way you can stay up to date as to what is available.
