We've posted many pictures of this years Chelsea Flower Show journey, including lots of plants and our fantastic team in action. We wanted to give a special mention to our intrepid leader Dave Root. He has spent countless hours masterminding Kelways journey, growing over 25,000 plants for the most prestigiuos flower show in the world.
From the start of the planning stage he's offered his wisdom and experience on what plants will work for Chelsea, and which ones won't. His passion to ensure our clients get the best selection of plants begins with working out what we can grow from scratch, then sourcing and where necessary scouring the planet for particular species.
He has an epic ability to immerse himself in the vision each designer has for their garden which enables him to tweak plant lists, and offer substitutions as needed. He works his socks off producing pick lists and loading trollies, and deals with a lot of last minute requests particularly during planting week at the showground.
With plant lists now coming in for Chelsea 2026, Dave and the team have already hit the ground running for next years show!
