One of our favorite tree peonies of spellbinding beauty. Pale lavender pink with a faint magenta stripe running through the centre of each petal. Very long lasting flowers which open slowly over several days. Broad bright green foliage which emerges purple tinged in the spring.

Fabulous plant provided by Kelways and I am delighted to learn that they have won Gold at Chelsea this year (2010). Congratulations! The Akashigata sent to me earlier this season is still in flower, despite the flowers from my other tree peonies (I have 7 in my garden) having bloomed and dropped, so can vouch for their claim that the flowers are long lasting. I made the mistake of ordering a tree peony from another source - never again! If you want the best, order from Kelways. I shall be ordering again. Many thanks.
