Absolutely in our opinion the very best deep red iris. Ruffled firm textured flowers of really good substance....and oh, the colour, its like the deepest russet red, evenly over the whole flower including the beards. A tall growing plant to around 95 or even 100cm but with really robust stems, so staking is rarely required.
