Rinpo

A most magnificent tree peony of ancient origin. The large semi double blooms open very flat in a most unusual way. The colour is described by the Japanese as Botan purple and the petals have silvery edged. A very late flowering plant. The buds tantalise you for what seems like weeks before they finally fully open.
