Dwarf Bean Coco Noir - Starazagorski

Prolific dual purpose bean.

Can be eaten sliced as 'green' beans when young, or shelled and dried at maturity.

Stringless light green, flattened pods with approximately 5 large black beans.

Good source of fibre.

Sow April to June.

Harvest June to October.

Plant 45cm (18in) apart in well-cultivated, fertile soil.

Phaseolus vulgaris.

The pods can be cooked like any 'green' beans when young or left to mature, and the black beans shelled and dried.  Always soak dried beans prior to cooking.

Available all year.
