Carrot Early Nantes 5

Early, finger or full size carrots.

Delicious early variety, good as 'finger' carrots.

Blunt ended, uniform roots with good colour.

Excellent source of vitamin A and antioxidants.

Sow March to July.

Harvest May to October.

Plant 30cm (12in) apart in well-drained soil.

Daucus carota.

If carrot fly is a problem, delay sowing until May.  Keep well-watered during dry spells, as this will prevent the roots from splitting.
